What began as a small cafe and sandwich shop in 2002 has now evolved into unique urban and suburban cafes in multiple locations in the greater Baltimore area. Our growing number of cafes are characterized by a distinctive menu of hand-crafted sandwiches, juicy burgers and cheesesteaks, mouthwatering paninis, hot and savory soups, garden fresh salads, over-stuffed wraps, delectable desserts and great coffee and espressos, in an inviting, urban-inspired setting, served by a friendly guest-focused team.

The original Cafe Gourmet opened in January of 2002 as a 6-seat sandwich shop and coffee house in Towson, MD. It was so popular that owners David and Lisa Redmond quickly opened their second in Towson and followed with a third in Philadelphia, PA. The fourth location opened in April of 2005 in Hunt Valley, MD, the fifth in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, and shortly thereafter in the Central Business District of Baltimore. Our most recent location just opened in Lutherville, MD.
